My love of music and guitar began at age 7, when my mom introduced me to a band called The Beatles. I listened to those vinyl records over and over again and soon began taking guitar lessons, in order play those songs for myself (Little did I know then, that I would be playing in a full Beatles tribute band years later!). As I improved, I played in a few original bands in High School, and eventually got accepted to Berklee College of Music in Boston. I studied there for 4 years under such amazing teachers as Garrison Fewell, Jon Finn, Joe Stump, Charlie Chapman, and many others. After finishing up there with honors (Magna Cum Laude, class of '94), I began teaching out of my home. Eventually, I was hired at BMR Music school in Malden, MA, where I still teach today. I also teach in student's homes outside of the Malden area. I currently perform in three bands: Stone Foundation - An acoustic duo performing classic rock and 80's covers, Glass Onion - An awesome Beatles tribute band, and Soul Pilgrims - A fun original duo with Malden luminary Greg Cherone (formerly of Atunga). I also perform solo in various places, mostly at Hugh O'Neill's pub in Malden. You can see and hear clips of these bands on the Bands pages on this website.
